Tops team in fantasy points in loss
MFremantle Dockers
April 4, 2021
Giro grabbed 20 disposals, eight marks, three goal assists and a single score Sunday as Fremantle fell to Carlton 109-64 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Giro matched Carlton's Sam Walsh with a game-high three goal assists, paired up with Michael Frederick and Matt Taberner to pace Fremantle in marks and was one of four Dockers to eclipse 20 disposals in Sunday's loss. The 22 year-old continues to see an overall increase in his week-over-week productivity, but, at this point, offers minimal fantasy value given a current average of 57.7 points a game - 129th-best amongst all AFL midfielders.
Plays in reserves match
MFremantle Dockers
August 18, 2020
Giro (knee) pulled up well following a reserves match Saturday versus the Blues.
ANALYSIS
Giro had been working his way back from an ACL injury dating back to last season, so it's a good sign that he's finally making some progress. He last appeared in a game for the Dickers back in 2018, when he averaged 14.7 disposals, 3.5 tackles and 2.1 marks in his 10 games played.
Still 3-to-4 weeks away

Knee - ACL
July 13, 2020
Fremantle listed Giro (knee) as out for 3-to-4 weeks after updating its injury report Monday.
ANALYSIS
The Dockers ruled Giro out for 3-to-5 weeks back on June 30, but it appears that timeline has now been pushed back a bit. At this stage, Giro can probably be ruled out through the remainder of July, and he'll need to demonstrate some progress during training sessions to be a realistic lineup option in early August.
Absence extended following ankle injury
MFremantle Dockers
Knee - ACL
June 30, 2020
Giro is expected to be sidelined for 3-to-5 more weeks after suffering an ankle issue a week ago.
ANALYSIS
Giro was closing in on a potential return to action as part of his rehab from a previous ACL injury, but the latest setback will delay his 2020 debut further. More information should surface as he draws closer to rejoining the action.
Sidelined another week

Knee - ACL
June 15, 2020
Giro (knee) won't be available Sunday for Fremantle's Round 3 match with Port Adelaide, Jordan McArdle of The West Australian reports.
ANALYSIS
The Dockers are estimating that Giro will need at least one more week to build strength in his knee as he nears the finish line in his recovery from the torn ACL he sustained just over a year ago. Giro has made 10 career appearances at the AFL level (all in 2018), recording three goals.
