Clippers and 76ers Teed Up for Interconference Battle
The Los Angeles Clippers take on the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night.

The Clippers (44-27) come into Wednesday's game far from playing their best basketball at a critical time of year, as they've dropped six of their last nine games. Their most recent stumble came Monday night, when they fell to the Indiana Pacers by a 133-116 score. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George co-led the Clippers with 26 points while also adding three assists apiece. Leonard added four rebounds. Norman Powell registered 22 points and three boards. Russell Westbrook supplied 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds. James Harden turned in 11 points, seven assists, three rebounds and one steal.

The Clippers will come into Wednesday's game without any short-term injuries to report.

The 76ers (39-33) have their own share of problems, as they'll enter Wednesday's contest having dropped three of the past four games. Their most recent defeat came Monday night, when they fell to the Sacramento Kings by a 108-96 score. Tyrese Maxey paced the 76ers with 29 points, supplementing them with three rebounds and two assists. Tobias Harris posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Ricky Council and D.J. Wilson produced matching 10-point, two-rebound efforts, with Wilson adding two assists and two blocks.

The 76ers will list Oubre (shoulder) as questionable for Wednesday's game. Joel Embiid (knee), Robert Covington (knee) and De'Anthony Melton (back) will remain out.

Wednesday's game marks the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The 76ers hold a 1-0 series lead.
