Warriors Notch Eighth Straight Win
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 126-114, at Chase Center on Thursday evening.

The Warriors jumped out to a strong start and led, 34-23, after one quarter. They kept the pressure on in the second and outscored the visitors, 39-31, in the quarter to make it a 19-point game by halftime. The Kings came out stronger in the third and chipped away at the deficit to cut it to an 11-point game heading into the final quarter. However, the Warriors made no mistake down the stretch, as they held strong to close out their eighth straight win.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 23 points, five rebounds and seven assists, in 24 minutes. Stephen Curry followed up with 20 points, seven assists and two steals, while Jonathan Kuminga chipped in 18 points, seven rebounds and a steal, off the bench. The Warriors shot 56 percent from the field, including 20-of-42 from long range.

Meanwhile, Davion Mitchell led the Kings with 26 points, eight assists and a steal, in 38 minutes. Harrison Barnes followed up with 25 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Maurice Harkless chipped in 18 points, three rebounds, two assists and six steals. The Kings shot 52.5 percent from the field, including 11-of-31 from long range.

The Kings (19-35) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Thunder on Saturday. The Warriors (40-13) take on the Thunder in OKC on Monday.
