Chandler is a 6-foot-4, 170-pound guard from the 2022 class of college recruits but has been away on a two-year mission, pushing his freshman debut to his 2024-25 season. He was initially committed to BYU, whose head coach was Mark Pope. But after Pope was named head coach of Kentucky, Chandler has also switched schools, preferring to be on the same with Pope.
