The Roughriders' official Twitter account announced Friday that Greene is retiring from the CFL.

ANALYSIS
Greene is retiring from the league without ever playing a single snap. He had a three-year NFL stint with the Jaguars after he was drafted by them in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft and then signed on with the Roughriders in February of 2020. The CFL never ended up having a season that year so Greene will exit the league without ever actually playing in a game. It's unclear what his next move will be in his football career.
