Campbell announced Jan. 7 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to UAB, joining the program as a transfer from Ole Miss.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Campbell spent two seasons at Ole Miss, joining the program in 2022 as a walk-on tight end. He appeared in just one game and entered the portal following the Rebels' loss to Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl and quickly found a new home at UAB, where he'll get the chance to compete at quarterback, the position he played during his high school days. He'll likely begin the 2023 season in a depth role behind expected starter Jacob Zeno.
