Facing three felony charges
Holly was arrested Thursday on three felony charges stemming from his alleged involvement in a Feb. 9 shooting in Farmerville, La., Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.

Holly is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon. The freshman running back was one of three individuals arrested in connection with the Feb. 9 incident in which two people were shot. LSU said in a statement that Holly has been suspended indefinitely from all football activities as a result of his arrest. Holly plans to plead not guilty to all three charges, and his future with LSU and in college football will be in flux while he waits for the legal process to play out. He handled a small rotational role out of the LSU backfield as a freshman in 2023, logging 11 carries for 110 yards and one touchdown while appearing in three games.
