DraftKings KBO: Wednesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings KBO: Wednesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings KBO series.

We have another four-game slate on tap Wednesday, with several former MLB arms taking the hill. One shapes up as the best arm on the night, while a couple of others are worth targeting. There are some sluggers who've been hitting particularly well lately also, and I'll look to zero in on those that also happen to draw a favorable matchup.

As customary, I'll highlight what I consider to be two of the safer pitching options at different price points, followed by some one-off hitters across the salary scale that could also prove profitable for cash games and/or tournaments. I'll then recommend two stacks that I trust the most to potentially string some above-average offensive numbers together and pay off for you in tournaments.

Pitchers

Ariel Miranda ($9,700) has put together a stellar season that includes a 13-5 mark, 2.30 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 11.7 K/9. The left-hander sports an 8-3 record, 2.11 ERA and .204 BAA across 98 home innings, good for an average of 24.9 DK points per start there. Miranda has an average of 17 DK points in four prior starts against the Wiz this season as well, putting him in play as a viable consideration if you're paying up despite KT's formidable lineup.

Woo Jin An ($8,600) was hit hard by the Lions in his most recent start, but he'd scored between 21.7 and 31.8 DK points in his six previous starts. The right-hander has a tough matchup against the Dinos but has already mastered them in the past, as he owns a 1.54 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and average of 26.7 DK points in two starts versus the Dinos this season, furnishing a 16:1 K:BB across 11.2 innings during that span.

ALSO CONSIDER: Chan Kyu Im ($7,400)

Top Targets

Ja Wook Koo ($5,300) has a .312 average at home, and a .356 average and .943 OPS across 14 games versus Kia this season. He checks in with a nice run at the plate as well, having slashed .342/.405/.474 in his last 10 games. Tigers starter Bo Takahashi has pitched to some contact thus far in his young KBO career, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 15 hits over 15.1 innings.

Jung Hoo Lee ($5,100) is averaging 9.3 DK points per game on the strength of a .357 average and .942 OPS, and he's hitting .367 in his home park. He's also been particularly effective against Dinos pitching, generating a .365/.431/.577 slash line and average of 11.2 DK points in 14 games versus NC. Dinos starter Wes Parsons has pitched well overall this season but had plenty of trouble with Heroes bats, pitching to an 8.05 ERA and 1.90 WHIP over four starts against Kiwoom.

Sun Bin Kim ($4,600) has delivered a .303 average and .777 OPS across 119 games, and he's been in the midst of one of his best stretches of the season at the plate for the last three weeks. Kim owns a .394 average and .999 OPS over his last 19 games. Kim has also been a very good home hitter, as he owns a .309 average across 60 contests there. Meanwhile, Samsung pitcher Mike Montgomery will be making his first start in more than a month due to a suspension and owns a 7.31 ERA and 2.00 WHIP in four road starts.

Bargain Bats

Suk Hwan Yang ($4,500) has flashed plenty of pop this season, as he's slugged 48 XBH overall, including a career-high 26 homers and 228 total bases. The veteran also has a .292 average against KTW in 13 games, and he's hit an impressive .324 across his last 10 games. KT starter Je Seong Bae has also pitched to a 5.23 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and .325 BAA across two starts versus the Bears, adding to Yang's appeal.

ALSO CONSIDER: Hyun Soo Kim ($4,200)

Stacks To Consider

Lions vs. Bo Takahashi: Ja Wook Koo ($5,300); Jae Il Oh ($4,600); Jose Pirela ($4,900); Min Ho Kang ($4,500)

Koo's attributes were already covered in his entry, while Oh checks in with an average of 8.5 DK points per contest, 40 XBH and 88 RBI across 107 games. He's also hitting .353 across his last 10 contests.

Pirela has cooled off compared to earlier in the season, but he still sports a .288 average, 26 homers, 91 RBI and an .855 OPS. The former MLB infielder also owns a .333 average and has put up 11.5 DK points per contest over 14 games against Kia pitching.

Kang's outstanding campaign includes a .300 average. .848 OPS, 36 XBH and 62 RBI. Kang has also been at his best on the road, where he sports a .303 average in 53 contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Heroes vs. Wes ParsonsHye Seong Kim ($5,200); Jung Hoo Lee ($5,100); Will Craig ($4,700); Dong Won Park ($4,900)
