September 16, 2022
Ladd will no longer face Sara McMann at UFC Vegas 60 on Sept. 17 after the fight was removed from the card, Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes reports.
ANALYSIS
Following Ladd's weight miss Friday, the UFC ultimately decided to remove the fight from the Sept. 17 card. It's unclear if the bout will be rescheduled for a second time, but nevertheless, the two bantamweights will have to wait to be booked again before returning to the Octagon. Ladd has now built up a history of weight cutting issues, so the promotion may find it difficult to book her at 135 pounds in the future.
Misses weight, won't cut further

September 16, 2022
Ladd weighed in at 138 pounds ahead of Saturday's matchup against Sara McMann and won't attempt to cut any more weight, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
According to Martin's report, Ladd was having issues with her weight cut heading into Friday, which was confirmed when she stepped foot on the scale. Considering she won't make another attempt to cut down to the 136-pound bantamweight limit, Ladd will forfeit a fraction of her purse to McMann if the fight goes on as scheduled.

After coming down with COVID-19 earlier this week, Ladd was forced to withdraw from her previously scheduled match against McMann on Aug. 13. Nevertheless, the fight has been pushed back a month to allow Ladd to fully recover. The contest is slated for the upcoming UFC Fight Night on Sept. 17.

August 2, 2022
Ladd has withdrawn from her scheduled bantamweight matchup against Sara McMann on Aug. 13, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It was initially unclear what officially forced Ladd to withdraw, as she does have a long history of weight cut issues with a few various injuries mixed in. It was reported shortly afterwards, however, that Ladd has come down with COVID-19 (per MMAFighting.com). It's not certain whether the UFC will look to find another opponent for McMann or if this fight might be rebooked at a later date.
Set for Aug. 13 clash

May 17, 2022
Ladd will take on Sara McMann on the Aug. 13 UFC card, All Access MMA reports.
ANALYSIS
Ladd has been on a downswing in the Octagon of late, losing three of her last four contests after beginning her UFC career 3-0-0. Next up is another struggling fighter in Sara McMann, who is looking to add another victory after busting a slump of three losses in four fights by picking up a win over Karol Rosa last time out. The two fighters sport identical heights and reaches, so there won't be any notable size advantage in this one.
