Klein defeated AJ Cunningham via TKO (strikes) at 4:36 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Klein was more than happy to face Cunningham after his originally scheduled opponent, Joel Alvarez, was forced to withdraw a few days ago due to undisclosed reasons. Now you know why. Klein absolutely looked the part of the -1200 favorite he entered as, methodically and viciously picking an overmatched Cunningham apart for as long as the fight lasted. It was a layup for "Mr. Highlight," and he took full advantage. Klein lost two of his first three bouts with the UFC, but he's undefeated (4-0-1) in five fights since.

He'll now take on an even hotter fighter in Alvarez, who has won five of his last six bouts -- all via stoppage. Both fighters share similar striking volume, while Klein offers a bit more offensive wrestling in his arsenal.

Not content to allow the much longer Bahamondes pick him apart at distance, Klein consistently rushed forward to close the gap between the two. He was able to force his opponent to the mat repeatedly without much resistance, making it difficult for Bahamondes to gain any momentum in the process. Klein has been up-and-down over the course of his UFC run, but he's been money of late, unbeaten in his past four fights (3-0-1). The only negative you can say about Klein's recent performances is that all three of the wins have come via decision.
