Without timeframe to return

OUT
April 3, 2024
Nkunku (hamstring) doesn't have a timeframe to return, according to manager Mauricio Pochettino. "At the moment we don't still know when it will be possible for him to start to train with the team. At the moment he is not training with us. He hasn't had a set-back, his recovery was longer than we expected."
ANALYSIS
This isn't the update Chelsea fans were looking for, as Nkunku has not been able to stay on the pitch this season. This injury was suffered after about a month of action on the pitch and a few bench appearances. Given this update, there's a chance Nkunku doesn't return again this season, chalking it up as a lost campaign. Fortunately for the Blues, most of the other attackers are healthy and scoring, so his absence isn't as pronounced as earlier in the season.
