Warriors Defeat T'Wolves, 124-115
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-115, at Chase Center on Thursday.

While there were 10 ties and seven lead changes in this game, Golden State held the lead for the final 20 minutes. That can be attributed to a 38-20 third quarter, with the Warriors getting their lead up to 16 points at times. With that said, it stayed within a single-digit margin for all but five total minutes. Golden State shot 54 percent from the field and 58 percent from three-point range (21-of-36) while holding Minnesota to 44 percent from the field and 23 percent from long range (10-of-44). In addition, the Warriors out-assisted the Timberwolves, 31-22.

The Timberwolves (24-24) were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, tallying 31 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Anthony Edwards amassed 27 points, six rebounds and six assists. Jaden McDaniels had 14 points and four rebounds, while Jarred Vanderbilt amassed nine points, eight rebounds and three steals. D'Angelo Russell departed in the third quarter with a shin issue and did not return.

The Warriors (36-13) were led by Stephen Curry, collecting 29 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals. Klay Thompson totaled 23 points, five rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wiggins accrued 19 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Jordan Poole provided 19 points, three rebounds and five assists to lead the bench.

Minnesota has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Friday, traveling to face the Phoenix Suns. As for Golden State, they return to action on Saturday in a home matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.
