Rockets Snap Four-Game Slide
The Houston Rockets defeated the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, 115-104, at Toyota Center on Wednesday evening.

The contest got out to a high-scoring start as the Rockets led, 32-31, after one quarter. They kept up the pace in the second and outscored the Cavs by 10 points in the quarter to take an 11-point lead into halftime. The Cavs came out stronger in the third and trimmed it to a seven-point game, heading into the final frame, but the Rockets reclaimed dominance in the fourth and held on for the win, putting an end to a four-game slide.

Christian Wood totaled 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, and Jalen Green added 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block, to lead the Rockets. Kevin Porter Jr. added 16 points, seven assists and a steal, while Garrison Mathews tallied 16 points, five rebounds and two steals, off the bench.

Meanwhile, Evan Mobley led the Cavs with 29 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and a steal, in 36 minutes. Kevin Love followed up with 21 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and a block, while Cedi Osman added 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting. The Cavs shot 51 percent from the field, including 7-of-21 from long range.

The Cavaliers (31-21) will look to bounce back as they take on the Hornets in Charlotte on Friday. The Rockets (15-36) take on the Spurs in San Antonio on Friday.
