Kings Defeat Nets, 112-101
The Sacramento Kings defeated the visiting Brooklyn Nets, 112-101, at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday.

There were nine lead changes in the first quarter of this game, with Brooklyn holding the lead for the second and third quarters. The final lead change came in the fourth quarter though, with Sacramento outscoring Brooklyn in that frame, 29-15. The Kings shot 14-of-42 from three-point range and 16-of-18 from the free-throw line while the Nets hit just 8-of-25 from long range and 11-of-14 from the charity stripe. In addition, Sacramento outrebounded Brooklyn, 58-42.

The Nets (30-21) were led by Nicolas Claxton and his 23 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks on 9-of-11 shooting. Patty Mills amassed 14 points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kyrie Irving collected 14 points, three rebounds and two blocks. James Harden missed nine of his 11 shots to finish with four points, eight rebounds and 12 assists. James Johnson led the bench with 18 points.

The Kings (19-34) were led by Harrison Barnes and his 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Davion Mitchell totaled 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Tyrese Haliburton tallied 12 points, two rebounds, 11 assists and four steals. Buddy Hield led the bench with 18 points, while Chimezie Metu had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Sacramento has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Thursday, facing the Golden State Warriors on the road. As for Brooklyn, they return to action on Friday in a road matchup with the Utah Jazz.
