Jazz Defeat Nuggets, 108-104
The Utah Jazz defeated the visiting Denver Nuggets, 108-104, at Vivint Arena on Wednesday.

While Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon and Jordan Clarkson all missed this game, it came down to the wire. In fact, there were seven ties and eight lead changes, with neither team ever attaining a double-digit lead. With that said, Utah went on a 9-2 run when the game was tied at 97-97 with three minutes remaining to take control. The Jazz shot 17-of-22 from the free-throw line while the Nuggets hit just 9-of-12. In addition. Utah won the turnover battle, 14-7, while outscoring Denver in the paint, 64-42.

The Nuggets (28-23) were led by Bryn Forbes, dropping 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting off the bench. Monte Morris led the starters with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists. Will Barton amassed 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Davon Reed registered 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

The Jazz (31-21) were led by Trent Forrest and his 18 points, two rebounds and eight assists. Mike Conley collected 17 points, five assists and four steals. Bojan Bogdanovic totaled 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while Royce O'Neale had 15 points, three rebounds and two assists. Rudy Gay led the bench with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Both teams return to action on Friday against struggling teams, with Denver returning home to play the New Orleans Pelicans and Utah staying home to play the Brooklyn Nets.
